Crystal Instruments (CI) is an engineering firm focused on data acquisition, dynamic signal analysis and measurement data management. With over ten years' experience creating embedded and DSP systems for handheld data acquisition, product evaluation, algorithm implementation and application software programming, CI's products and technology are in use today by many of the world's leading companies, industrial providers and government agencies, including General Motors, Ford, Hewlett Packard, Dell, IBM, nvh, the US Navy and the US Army.

In 2007, CI introduced CoCo-80, the first handheld data recorder and real-time dynamic signal analyzer that matches the performance of high-end lab-quality instrumentation. With its extremely compact form factor, low-power and rugged design, the CoCo-80 is ideal for field use. CoCo-80 is equipped with 4 or 8 input channels and can accurately measure and record both dynamic and digital signal processing. The mass flash memory can record 8 channels of streaming machine condition monitoring simultaneously up to 102.4 kHz. The combination of the modal analysis human interface on the CoCo-80 and the PC based computer interface make it machinery vibration analysis and easy to use.

CI also provides engineering services in hardware and modal testing development. The CI team includes more than 40 product managers and engineers. Most have Masters Degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other acoustics analyzer fields. Each of CI's key engineers has more then 10 years' engineering experience. CI's engineers hold a number of patents in the areas of frequency response function, real-time control and portable dynamic signal analyzer.

CI leverages state of the art design methods and components to spectral analyzer products in a rapid product development cycle environment.

The hardware and software engineers have years of experience developing DSP based systems and interfaces to Windows based PCs. This experience translates to high quality, simple and easy to use interfaces and outstanding industrial design. In addition the CI engineers are constantly pushing the boundaries to develop new algorithms and software implementation, such as CSA, Configurable vibration analyzer. CSA is a new DSP based technology that allows end users to customize DSP code via simple XML scripts. These innovations make CI products among the most powerful and vibration test in the world.
